Dr. Peter Holmes
Director

Dr. Peter Holmes is a retired global business executive currently providing clients with strategic consulting services specializing in strategic growth planning and executive coaching. He is passionate about helping his clients reach for high achievement and fulfillment in their business, careers, wellness, and life.

During Peter’s 30-year career working in the chemicals industry, he held roles in research and development, manufacturing, marketing, and executive management roles with increasing responsibility. A results-oriented executive with broad, international experience and a track record of driving revenue and market share growth, cost containment, process improvements, and operating efficiencies that deliver profit growth and superior financial results.

Peter enjoyed diverse business experiences through business travels to all regions of the world and including living abroad in Singapore and Shanghai for five years. Following 23 years with Dow Chemical Company, Dr. Holmes completed his corporate career as the CEO of Diversified Chemical Technologies, a black-owned minority business enterprise.

Since his retirement from corporate life in 2015, Peter discovered a new passion coaching and mentoring others to achieve their goals and dreams in their careers, financial lives, and overall wellness. Organizations and individual leaders come to him to increase business results, resilience, engagement, motivation, decision making, and collaboration for their leaders and their teams. He typically works on projects at educational, small business, private equity, and venture capital firms. He also devotes time working with individuals regarding their personal health goals and financial wellbeing.

Peter earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Virginia Tech, a doctorate in organic chemistry from Howard University, and completed Executive Education at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. More recently, he obtained certifications in Health Coaching and Executive Coaching.

Howard M. Holley, Sr. is well known as a communications and marketing consultant and coach. He supports executives with innovative communication roadmaps, stakeholder relationship plans and market assessments for community colleges, HBCUs, non-profits and minority entrepreneurs.

Holley is also CEO and Publisher of TouchPoint Innovative Solutions, Inc. a communications, marketing and media firm that optimizes communication touch points and customer/community intimacy for its clients. Included in TouchPoint’s media portfolio are EVOLVE Magazine, EVOLVE News, PARENT Magazines Florida, and Family Things To Do+ eNewsletter. TouchPoint also publishes custom and private magazines and newsletters for clients and non-profits across the country.

Howard is a former senior executive of the Xerox Corporation, having spent more than thirty-three years with the industry leader. In his Xerox career, Howard was district manager of San Diego/Las Vegas, director of global sales & management education at Xerox University and vice president of strategy and marketing for the government and education industries. He was also assigned to Shanghai as senior vice president & general manager for Xerox China’s Enterpise Solutions Group. Howard later provided global leadership for the $1B Customer Communication Services consulting practice as senior vice president & general manager and a member of the Xerox global senior management team.

Holley’s community service has included President of the Metropolitan Area Minority Employees of New York City, Vice Chair of Junior Achievement of San Diego, Vice Chair of the Urban League of Southwest Connecticut, Chair of the Daytona State College Foundation Board, Chair of the Foundation for Flagler’s Future, and Advisory Committee Chair of the Palm Coast Arts Foundation. He is currently a founding member of the Board of the Flagler Tiger Bay Club, a member of the Rotary Club of Flagler County, and Board member for the Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is also currently Chair of the Board and Co-Founder of the Coastal Entrepreneur and Innovation Institute. As part of his commitment to community service, Holley was a candidate for Flagler (FL) County Commissioner – District 2.

In August 2023, Holley was selected by Florida House Speaker Paul Renner to serve on the Florida Museum of Black HistoryTask Force which will report out to the Governor, the Senate President and the House Speaker in June 2024.

Howard Holley has received numerous honors, including the United Negro College Fund Excellence Award, Junior Achievement Chairman’s Award, City of San Diego’s Distinguished Leadership Award, the Black Women’s Leadership Council Glass Ceiling Award, Xerox Corporation’s Diversity Leadership Award and Individual Excellence Award, and the Leadership Excellence Award from the National Association of Black Employees (NAME).

In alignment with our goal to help underserved communities, I will work with community leaders and organizations to promote that we are inclusive of underrepresented populations throughout the communities that we serve.

I’ve been a Palm Coast resident since 2006, was Area Manager of the Small Business Development Center at the University of Central Florida in Palm Coast and Manager of the Palm Coast Business Assistance Center from 2011 to 2014.

I understand the need to provide business assistance as well as the opportunity for Entrepreneurs to create new products, services, and technologies that improve lifestyles locally, nationally, and globally.

Terri Quinton
Secretary and Director

Terri L. Quinton is an award-winning entrepreneur, influential leader and talented author, with experience in Corporate America, technology, marketing, national and regional non-profit boards. Terri is focused on the sustainable growth of women of color entrepreneurs and diverse-businesses.

She is CEO of Q2 Marketing Group LLC, an award-winning, full-service marketing agency primarily focused on the business growth of small and mid-sized companies. Terri is also partner and CMO for Argent Edges LLC, an technology firm deploying smart edge kiosks or “smartphones on a corner” designed to provide communities experiential user engagement and information.

Terri is author of the book “Give Me G.R.I.T.S. – Girls Raised Intentionally To Succeed” that chronicles several extraordinary women entrepreneurs and executives and the impact on their lives by their mothers.

Terri has been recognized with numerous awards for her work and commitment to diversity and inclusion including induction into Women’s Business Enterprise Hall of Fame and Icons and Legends Award. She champions educational efforts focused on helping students create jobs – not just find one. Terri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Kansas State University and an MBA from Southern Illinois University. She currently chairs the alumni association for the NMSDC Kellogg Advanced Management Executive Program (AMEP).

She is originally from Topeka, Kansas but makes her home in Dallas, Texas.

Jeanne Coates
Treasurer and Director

Jeanne Coates is Chief Operating Officer of TouchPoint Innovative Solutions, Inc. a communications, marketing and media firm that optimizes communication touch points and customer/community intimacy. Included in TouchPoint’s media portfolio are EVOLVE Magazine, EVOLVE News, PARENT Magazines Florida, and Florida Baby.

Coates is an Industrial Engineer who began her career doing process improvements, writing standard operating procedures and handling logistics for the US Navy.  She founded a sales and marketing company in 1997 and has over 26 years’ experience in advertising and sponsorship sales for non-profit and public institutions, including the USO of Hampton Roads, the College of William & Mary and Virginia Tech.  

Her community service has included communications support and editing of stakeholder documents for the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula.  She has been active on their capital campaign committee.

Jeanne Coates and her husband, Todd Coates reside in Yorktown, VA.
